"The Hunted" by one of my Favorites: Brian Haig
Brian Haig is an interesting fellow. He's the son of Al Haig and a military officer and attorney. He is also a darn good writer. He hasn't written enough books to make me happy, but his works don't disappoint. This book is based on a true story and it has spys, Russian Mafia, Corrupt US Government, nice folks running from the bad guys.. A book with great characters and action. Who would like to read it or receive it as a gift? I'll tell you in this video review!
Best Book I've Read in Decades: The Last Centurion
John Ringo thought he wrote a work of science fiction, but the world caught up very quickly. The story line is as modern as... right now! THIS is a book you should buy a dozen of in
paperback and give away to friends! Quick, before it happens!
In this video review I don't give away the story line, but I do tell you who would be interested in reading "The Last Centurion" or receiving it as a gift.
W.E.B Griffin's "Black Ops" -- Perhaps the last of the Good Griffin Books?
"Black Ops" is no longer the "latest" book by W.E.B. Griffin as I state in this video, but it might have been the last GOOD book by this wonderful author. I really can not recommend later books co-authored with William Butterworth IV (the author's son). Later books lack the great handling of characters and the ability to engage the reader that so many of enjoy in the works published under the W.E.B. Griffin name. Would you like "Black Ops"? I'll tell you in this video review without giving away the plot.
Robert B. Parker: "The Professional" A Great Book for Great Guys?
Robert B. Parker is a prolific author, but more importantly, he is dependable! I haven't found a stinker yet! Would YOU like "The Professional"? In this video book review I'll give you insight without giving away the plot!

Stuart Woods "Loitering with Intent" - Hot or Cold?
Stuart Woods is an author who runs hot and cold. This book, "Loitering with Intent" is set mainly in Key West; a town just down the road from my home in the Florida Keys. How did he do this time? I'll tell you in this video review! Frank Derfler, Author of "A Glint in Time"

John Sanford "Rough Country" Is This A Book You Would Like?
John Sanford is a reliable "Who Done It" author. In Rough Country Sanford's character Virgil Flowers tries to solve a string of murders at a hot resort in cold Minnesota. How does Sanford do with this story line? Would the book make a good gift? Would you like it? I'll tell you in this video book review without spoiling the story line Frank Derfler -- Author of "A Glint in Time"
